The Fire Service is rendering the following services to the public:
- Rescue the life and property of the people from devastating fire.
- Search and Rescue people from natural calamities and manmade Disasters.
- Inculcate the public on fire prevention and ensure proper fire safety arrangements.
- Help the affected people to resume their normal life.
- Special Services – Deployment of Fire Service personnel with Fire Fighting Tenders as Fire Safety precautions during public gathering at the time of Kumbabishegam, Exhibition, Circus and VVIP’s visit.
- Attending Special Service Calls such as Rescuing person from Well, Ponds, Lake etc. removing of Wasp Combs, Rescue of Animals, clearing of Oil spillages on roads to avert accidents etc.
- Issue of No Objection Certificate / Recommendations for grant of license to trades and industries involving fire risk.
